As you head towards Emporio and Perissa, you will see the sign for Megalochori. Very beautiful and picturesque village, with traditional houses known as Kanaves, i.e. houses with external masonry and an internal courtyard, arranged in an original way, one next to or on top of the other. The beautiful cobbled streets, the village church in the square with the wonderful iconostasis, the cafes, wineries and taverns, make it authentic and special. Worth a visit!
